Job Linkage in Hendon and the East End area of the City receives funding from New Deal for Communities, operating as 'Back on the Map'. This is a ten year regeneration programme running to March 2011 aiming to improve the area and local people’s quality of life. Job Linkage is one of the main lead agents delivering employment support to enable local people to find work.
From April 2007- March 2008 we helped 252 local people into employment.
This is an exciting new reward initiative in addition to our main services available only to residents who live in the Back on the Map area.
Sometimes it can be a struggle staying positive and motivated if you have been out of work for a while and are looking for work. We aim to encourage and motivate you by offering reward points for completing positive activities that will increase your chances of finding work.
This will help you :
- Develop and progress your personal action plan
- Take positive action to improve yourself
- Recognise your personal achievement
- Receive rewards whilst progressing towards employment
As you make progress your personal adviser will allocate you the points for completing steps on your personal action plan. A wide range of personal development activities will earn you these reward points which you can collect and then redeem against an item of your choice from the reward website. The system is simple and straightforward to use. We will help you to set up your account and allocate you a personal ID number and security password for the website.
Participation in ‘ Points 4 Progress’ is entirely voluntary but is not transferable for cash rewards also no additional purchases above your reward points value can be made from the site.
